Vitamin C is present in the serum in a stable form of Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate, soluble in fats. This form is not sensitive to pH changes, sunlight, higher temperatures and does not oxidize.
The vitamin C derivative has excellent antioxidant properties, inhibits melanin production, brightens the skin and stimulates collagen synthesis. It is highly effective even in low concentrations (2%), and therefore does not irritate sensitive skin.
